Steven D. Schroeder

Schroeder Law Group is led by its principal attorney, Steven D. Schroeder. Steven founded Schroeder Law Group in downtown Chicago in 2001. An Iowa native, Steven’s law practice reflects the sense of community and strongly held values for which America’s heartland is known.   

Steven has represented hundreds of clients from diverse industries and backgrounds on a wide variety of legal matters. Cases have ranged from multimillion dollar litigation and transactions to basic real estate closings. He has represented clients in litigation of all kinds, both large and small, and has appeared in courts and forums throughout Cook County, Lake County, DuPage County and the Northern District of Illinois.

A former high school wrestler and adult triathlete, and a current adult hockey player, Steven is not afraid of taking on a new challenge or hard work. With a degree in mathematics and a passion for history and politics, he approaches every case with an eye for the best possible solution to help his clients achieve their goals, taking into consideration the legal, personal and financial variables associated with each course of action.

Steven and his wife Karen married in 2008 and live in Chicago’s South Loop.  They love their families, friends, traveling and their dog.
